The approach is to start with where you and your teams are at, understanding the workflows and processes already in place and what is already working well.

  1. Tap into teams’ collective ideas to identify challenges and pain points they can identify
  2. Identifying the real and root cause of the challenges
  3. Collect and refine the ideas for improvements they likely already have
  4. Once again leverage the teams’ collective and shared knowledge to propose new ideas to solve challenges
  5. Share and propose ideas from my own deep experience in teamwork, communication and workflow optimisation
  6. Collate and prioritise solutions that the team agree will be the most effective and they will commit to adopting

This process results in teams having a lightweight and totally fit-for-purpose way of working that they feel a sense of ownership of, significantly improving the the chances of the changes lasting and truly improving collaboration, communication, efficiency and of course, ultimately increasing total value delivered!
